A Mudgeeraba outdoor-living project that connects a freeform pool, timber deck, covered alfresco, kitchen, front entry and tropical garden as a single landscape.
The Project
This completed Mudgeeraba project demonstrates the benefit of planning poolside living and alfresco use together. The freeform pool, deck, outdoor kitchen, planting, feature lighting and front entry have each been detailed as part of a wider outdoor environment made for daytime relaxation and evening entertaining.
Design & Construction Approach
The pool terrace and covered alfresco have been treated as complementary parts of one entertaining setting. Timber decking provides the transition around the water, while the outdoor kitchen and dining area maintain a direct relationship with the pool and garden.
Corten steel garden beds provide a crisp frame for palms, tropical planting and lawn. This balance of built edges and softer planting gives the outdoor areas definition while keeping the planted layers central to the finished feel.
Feature wall lights and uplighting bring attention to key planting and built forms at dusk. The evening setting supports how the pool, alfresco and outdoor kitchen can be used after the workday is finished.

The result is a complete outdoor-living environment with a stronger connection between the pool, alfresco and gardens. Each area works independently, while the shared material palette makes the full property feel more unified.
